Due to the unfortunate boiler failure at the AAC, our current pass holders are being offered a chance to utilize the Sunset Pool in Seaside, for free. Like the AAC, Sunset Pool is a public facility where all swimmers are welcome.
If you have a current annual or quarterly pass, or a punch card with the AAC, please report to the front desk of the Astoria Aquatic Center. Present your name and a photo ID to receive conditional free swim opportunities at Sunset Pool while the AAC boiler gets replaced.
The river runs deep between the two public pools. AAC management expresses sincere appreciation for the enthusiastic and warm welcome from the Sunset Empire Park & Recreation District in our time of facility compromise. It has been a relief to navigate troubled waters with an agency that is willing to stick their hand out and help our patrons in a meaningful way. Thank you SEPRD.
The City of Astoria is working hard to provide the Astoria Aquatic Center with a new boiler system in hopes of a speedy re-opening! Thank you for understanding during this shut down period.
