Through Christmas of this year, Haystack Gallery and some of our artists have agreed to donate up to 100% of the total sale on selected merchandise between our local food bank and Pioneer House Shelter.

We hope this will help the many storm victims from last year as well as those affected by our current economic issues.

“For many years now we have raised monies to help the local food bank. Last year in celebration of our 30 years in Cannon Beach, we gave back to the communities that helped to support us by having a Feed the Body and Soul program,” says Patty Coomes, owner of Haystack Gallery. “Each month from May to November 2007 we featured our artists and their work at the gallery with a special appearance. On the weekend of the artist’s appearance we collected donations for the local Food Bank. We asked our patrons to come and meet the artist that month, and please drop off a can of food. This year we changed the program a bit and added donations to the Pioneer House Shelter.”
